When it comes to engraving plastic, it can be overwhelming to sort through all of the available options in the market. There are so many ways to set your business apart from the competition. Differentiating your business from the others is crucial because you need a reason for customers to choose you over the rest. If you don’t already have a way stand out from the crowd, here’s some ideas on how you can set your business apart.
Know Your Why
Developing a “why” is all about understanding your purpose and motivation for starting and running your business. You’ll need to clarify your values, goals, and the impact you want to have on the world.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a law in the United States that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities, requires buildings to have specific accommodations for disabled persons. This includes guidelines on signage that provide information or directions and are required to be accessible to people with various disabilities, such as visual, hearing, or mobility impairments.

The last requirement for ADA signage is the size and placement. Signs must be placed in locations that are easily visible and accessible to people with disabilities, and the text must be sized appropriately for the distance from which

Johnson Plastics Plus is always listening to our customers when it comes to adding new products to our lineup, particularly trending drinkware items. These 20oz & 30oz Simply Engraving Tumblers are the perfect customizable product to add to your business and one of the hottest tumbler products for laser personalization. Here are some tips and tricks on how to engrave the tumblers and get the best results possible for your customers.
Compatible Lasers
Any large-format laser engraver will work when personalizing these tumblers. If you personalized drinkware before in your laser, then the process is very similar. However, due to the size of the tumblers, most desktop lasers won’t be able accommodate the tumblers. One exception is the Flux Beamo Desktop Laser Cutter & Engraver that’s available through jpplus.com. The Beamo is a tabletop engraver that has the depth to accommodate a rotary attachment. You can see a demo of the Beamo laser engraving a similar tumbler on our website here.
